Statistics_bg Applied Statistics provides the methodologies for modeling, structuring, solving and analyzing an extensive array of practical problems. This discipline focuses on the characteristics of communication, mathematical, statistical and computing skills.

The curriculum is strongly applying and observing an emphasis on application in the commercial segments. The main focus of this program is on the use of specific tools and methodologies that are preferred in current practices of data analysis and are also being taught within prevalent commercial software packages such as: SPSS and SAS.

There is excessive demand of competent and capable data analysts in the current job markets on global scale. This degree program aims to develop the interest of the students in awareness and understanding of statistics and its practical implementation in the real-world data analysis. It also aims to provide them with a broad statistical knowledge through concentrated and challenging statistical modules.
