Governor's visit to NCBA&E

Governor of the Punjab and Patron NCBA&E Mr. Sardar Muhammad Latif Khosa visited the campus on Wednesday, 23rd of May, 2012.

A presentation about the current status of the institute and its ongoing programs was given by the management, followed by an Address to the students by the Governor, emphasizing the importance of higher education and the role of youth in national development.

The Governor suggested the students to be amongst job creators rather than being job seekers by working on the development of SME’s.

Book having the title Distribution of Mean of correlation coefficients has been published by LAP Lambert Publishers, written by Anwer Hasnain, a Ph.D. research scholar and a faculty member at NCBA&E. He holds a position of Assistant Secretary ISOSS Executive Board.

Ms. Qura-tul-ain, a student of M.Phil. Computer Science, has recently published her research paper in International Journal of Scientific and Engineering Research (IJSER) France, having the topic: Usage & Issues of Cloud Computing Techniques in Small and Medium Business Organizations

School of Computer Science at NCBA&E is working hard in the research field in different domains including Computer Networks, GIS, Cognition, and a number of other cross-disciplinary areas.

Achievement in National Essay Writing Competition 2011

Muhammad Zubair Khan, student of BBA Hons. at National College of Business Administration and Economics (NCBA&E) Lahore has achieved Second position regarding his topic What does Federalism mean to me? in National Essay Writing Competition 2011 on Federalism, organized by Centre for Civic Education Pakistan and Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Some of his concluded statements were,

For Pakistan to be a true federal state, it has to protect and promote the democratic institutions at all costs. There is no way but allowing democracy to flourish here and only then can we have a federal Pakistan.
