Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
NCBA&EJM is a peer reviewed international journal committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. In order to provide our readers with a journal of highest quality we state the following principles of Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement. All articles not in accordance with these standards will be removed from the publication if malpractice is discovered at any time even after the publication. NCBAEJM is checking all papers in a double-blind peer review process. We also check for plagiarism and research fabrication (making up research data); falsification (manipulation of existing research data, tables, or images) and improper use of humans or animals in research. In accordance with the code of conduct we will report any cases of suspected plagiarism or duplicate publishing. NCBA&EJM reserves the right to use plagiarism detecting software to screen submitted papers at all times.
Authors must ensure that they have written original works. In addition, they must ensure that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere. Any work or words of other authors, contributors, or sources should be appropriately credited and referenced. Authors are also responsible for language editing before submitting the article. Authors submitting their works to the journal for publication as an original article confirm that the submitted works represent their author’s contributions and have not been copied or plagiarized in whole or in part from other works without clearly citing. Any work or words of other authors, contributors, or sources (including online sites) should be appropriately credited and referenced. All authors should disclose financial or other conflict of interest that might influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript (financial support for the project should be disclosed). When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her own published work, it is the author’s obligation to promptly notify the journal editor and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper. An author agrees to the license agreement before submitting the article. All articles must be submitted using the online submission procedure. Submitting a paper simultaneously to more than one publication at a time is a breach of publication ethics.
Editors must ensure a fair double-blind peer-review of the submitted articles for publication. They will strive to prevent any potential conflict of interests between the author and editor and review personnel. Editors will also ensure that all the information related to submitted manuscripts is kept as confidential before publishing. Editor-in-Chief will coordinate the work of the editors.
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on content without regard to ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, citizenship, religious belief or political philosophy of the authors. They must ensure that all the information related to submitted manuscripts is kept as confidential and must report to the Editor-in-Chief if they are aware of copyright infringement and plagiarism on the author’s side. They must evaluate the submitted works objectively as well as present clearly their opinions on the works in a clear way in the review form. A reviewer who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a manuscript or knows that its prompt review will be impossible should notify the Editor-in-Chief and excuse himself from the review process.
Authors Guideline:
Manuscript and Reference Style.
The language of the international journal of management is English. 12-point type in one of the standard fonts: Times, Helvetica, or Courier is preferred. Please double-line space your manuscript. Manuscripts must conform to the style of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 6thEdition (http://www.apastyle.org/manual/whats-new.aspx).
Tables must appear on separate pages after the reference list, and must not be incorporated into the main text. Figures should be uploaded as separate figure files. Manuscripts submitted to JPRSM should not normally be more than 40 pages in length (including references, tables and figures). Manuscripts up to 50 pages will be considered, but authors should be aware that reviewers will expect to see a contribution commensurate with the extra page length. Authors considering submitting manuscripts of more than 50 pages should discuss with the Editor-in-Chief before submitting.
All references must be complete and accurate. Where possible the DOI for the reference should be included at the end of the reference. The Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is an identification system for intellectual property in the digital environment. Developed by the International DOI Foundation on behalf of the publishing industry, its goals are to provide a framework for managing intellectual content, to link customers with publishers, to facilitate electronic commerce and to enable automated copyright management. Online citations should include date of retrieval. If necessary, cite unpublished or personal work in the text but do not include it in the reference list. References should be listed in the following style:
- Lam, S.S.K., & Dreher, G.F. (2004). Gender, extra-firm mobility, and compensation attainment in the United States and Hong Kong. Journal of Organizational Behavior, 25 , 791-805. DOI: 10.1002/job.264
- Heider, F. (1958). The psychology of interpersonal relations. New York: Wiley.

This journal operates a double blind reviewing process whereby the reviewer is not aware of the author’s identity. In order to facilitate this please follow the instructions below very carefully.
- Ensure your manuscript text does not contain any direct reference to you or your co-authors. Including any acknowledgements or references that may compromise the identity of the author(s).
- Upload the main text of your manuscript with the file designation “Anonymised Main Document”. The first page should contain just the title and keywords. An abstractof up to 200 words should be placed on the second page. (An abstract is a concise summary of the whole paper, not just the conclusions, and must be understandable without reference to the rest of the paper. It should contain no citation to other published work).
- Upload a secondary title page as a separate document. Use the file designation “Title page with full author details and biographies”. The secondary title page should contain the article title and full names and addresses of all authors and the name(s) of any sponsor(s) of the research contained in the paper, along with grant number(s). Please also include a short biography of each author (approximately 50 words) in this document.
- Ensure that your paper is not available in the public domain on the Internet. All references to the paper title in publicly accessible documentation (e.g., online CV) must also be removed. Although we recognize it is sometimes unavoidable, authors should also try to use different titles for conference papers where the conference program can be accessed via the Internet.
During the submission process, in the places provided, you must:
- Enter the full title, short title of up to 70 characters and the names and affiliations of all authors. Give the full address, including email, telephone and fax numbers, of the corresponding author who is to check the proofs prior to publication.
- Enter an abstractof up to 200 words for all articles.
- Include up to five keywordsthat describe your paper for indexing purposes.
Research Context
Sometimes, the setting in which organizational research is conducted is unique in some way or consist of qualities that bear on the work. This would be the case, for example, if data are collected at a time in which major events occurred in the organization or in a foreign setting whose context or practices may be unfamiliar to most readers. On such occasions, authors should provide suitable descriptions of these settings so as to put their findings and their interpretation in an appropriate perspective for readers. As required, brief descriptions that do not disrupt the flow of major ideas should be inserted into the body of articles (e.g., in a subsection of the “Method” section entitled, “Research Context”). Whenever detailed or protracted descriptions are called for, however, these should be included in an appendix that follows the references. Please note that the editors or reviewers may request such information as they deem useful.
Illustrations
Upload each figure as a separate file in either .tiff or .esp. format, with the figure number and the top of the figure indicated. Compound figures e.g. 1a, 1b, 1c should be uploaded as a single figure appearing in one file. Tints (grey shadings) are unacceptable. Lettering must be of a reasonable size that would be clearly legible upon reduction, and consistent within each figure and set of figures. Where a key to symbols is required, please include this in the artwork itself, not in the figure legend. All illustrations must be supplied at the correct resolution:
- Black and white and colour photos – 300 dpi
- Graphs, drawings, etc. – 800 dpi preferred; 600 dpi minimum
- Combinations of photos and drawings (black and white and color) – 500 dpi
Tables should be part of the main document and should be inserted after the references. If a table is created as an excel spreadsheet, the file should be uploaded separately.
Plagiarism: We use multiple softwares to check plagiarism of each article to ensure the originality of the research.
Generic Manuscript sequence:
- Abstract
- Keywords
- Introduction
- Literature Review
- Methodology
- Analysis and Results
- Discussion and Conclusion
- Limitations and Avenues for Future

Post Acceptance
Proofs. For accepted manuscripts the publisher will supply proofs to the corresponding author prior to publication. This individual is required to correct errors that may have been introduced during the production process. No substantive changes may be made at this stage. Prompt return of the corrected proofs, preferably within two days of receipt, will minimize the risk of the paper being held over to a later issue. Authors must take care to ensure all referencing is accurate as corrections cannot be made after this proofing stage is complete.
