Introduction
Students enrolled in associate’s degree programs in sports management learn about the business side of sports & tourism to prepare for careers in a variety of sports-related fields, including community recreation, tourism, and facilities management.
Sports & Tourism Management includes business activities such as planning, organizing, directing, controlling, budgeting, and evaluating in contexts related to different types of professional sports and tourism activities. Associate degree in sports & tourism management builds the necessary skills for managing a sports team, or the business side of tourism in order to generate revenue.
