Prof. Dr. Alia Ahmed

Professor Dr. Alia Ahmed earned her LLB from the Punjab University and holds her Ph.D. in Management from the National College of Business Administration and Economics (NCBA&E), Lahore. At present, she is the Dean Business School; and is supervising the Doctoral, and undergrad business programs at the NCBA&E.

She has been involved in international and national projects like the National Integrity System, Country Report 2014 under the Transparency International and TI Pakistan; and  Accountability Structures: A Comparative Analysis, Citizens’ Periodic Reports on the Performance of State Institutions by Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency – PILDAT.  An HEC approved supervisor, she has successfully advised 12 PhDs,  9 MPhils, and has more than 60 publications including research articles, conference papers, and books. She is also on the panel of reviewers for renowned international journals and has also reviewed for the Academy of Management (AoM).  She is the chairperson Executive Board of the Islamic Countries Society of Statistical Sciences (ISOSS), Lahore; Executive Editor, Pakistan Journal of Statistics (PJS), Lahore (Pakistan); and the Executive Editor,  JISOSS, Lahore (Pakistan). She is also involved in social work and is the Vice Chairman, The Compassion Trust, Lahore and Member, Child Protection Trust(CPRT), Lahore (registered in UK). Her major areas of interest are Organizational crime and criminology; and currently she is working on areas like corporate malpractices/corruption, workplace bullying, harassment, and deviance.
